The Best Green Smoothie

This beautiful purple flower is from the Viola leaves in my yard. Feel free to add any herbs or other greens!

Ingredients:

1 cup filtered water

3-4 cups of organic baby spinach*

1/2 banana

3/4 cup organic frozen mango

squeeze of an organic lemon

optional scoop of collagen powder or your favorite protein powder

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend! Taste it and if the greens are too overpowering for you, add more lemon juice and fruit.

*Note: If you use regular spinach or other greens, use less! Baby spinach has such a mild flavor compared to regular spinach or kale. Baby kale is another great mild green you could add but maybe only 2 cups to start. This is my favorite daily smoothie!
